The latest creation from Japanese pencil sharpening experts NJK, which could be the last pencil sharpener you will ever need.
The attractive aluminium body has been made even more desirable with Niwaki printed in both katakana and plain ol’ latin characters. It’s a self-contained sharpener, catching all the shavings in the body, keeping your desk, Niwaki Pouch or pencil case tidy. Rice resin (not plastic) cap and base, both removable, with a clever extra long blade, and a spare supplied as standard.
The profile of the resulting sharpened pencil is slightly more tapered than a regular sharpener, but we find it to be a very pleasing shape.
