Lemnos M,S,S. Maru Sankaku Shikaku Clock - Black
Designed by Yohei Oki, the M,S,S. clock takes its name from the Japanese words for Maru 丸 (circle), Sankaku 三角 (triangle), and Shikaku 四角 (square).
Rather than using traditional numerals, the hours are represented through a playful arrangement of geometric shapes, transforming the familiar clock face into an engaging piece of graphic design.
As circles, triangles, and squares are combined around the dial, the numbers gradually reveal themselves to the viewer. The geometric markers are arranged in a rhythmic pattern, creating a clock that is both functional and visually intriguing. Simple at first glance, the design invites a second look and rewards closer observation.
Finished in a clean white colourway with contrasting grey hands and markers, the clock offers a calm, contemporary aesthetic that complements a wide range of interiors. Thoughtfully sized at 20cm in diameter, it works beautifully on a desk, shelf, or bedside table using the included stand. The stand can also be removed, allowing it to be displayed as a small wall clock and a distinctive accent within the home.
